Fr. Almeida set the tone of the session by speaking on self-awareness, gradually leading into
impactful discussions on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) and the Protection of
Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. His sessions were lively, thought-provoking,
and enriched with real-life examples that kept the participants engaged throughout.
Students were given the opportunity to clarify their doubts and interact with the speaker,
which made the program more meaningful. The resource person made excellent use of the
time allotted, ensuring that key messages were delivered effectively.
The sessions concluded with participants signing an acknowledgement of participation,
marking the successful completion of the program.
The Safeguarding Program not only sensitized students and faculty but also reinforced the
importance of creating a safe, respectful, and responsible learning environment.
